Texans - Training

Academy Program Details: The Texas Heat Soccer Club Technical Training Academy Program is the premier youth development program for U7-U10 boys’ players in South Texas playing recreational soccer. Our program is designed specifically for those players who desire elite training from the Texas Heat professional staff. Each session will be 75 minutes long and will focus on technical and tactical development. The program begins February 8, 2010, and ends April 29, 2010.  Practice will be at Northwest Park in La Porte.  For more information visit our website or call 832-559-3516. Players who want to practice twice a week are permitted to sign up for two days a week for an additional $50.

Training Goals: Our goal is to create a fun and challenging environment that helps develop creative young soccer players.  We want to help create a passion and love of the game in the players we work with.  We will expose the players to the technical, tactical, psychological, and physical demands of the game.  We use competitive training sessions to improve the skill level of the players.  We also want to improve the players understanding of small sided games.  All sessions are done in a fun and friendly environment that we feel will create a love of the game.
